I am going to ask José when he gets home the same question. Since we're still here in the US, it will be different but interesting. I'm sure he wouldn't be packing up to move down South, lol.

KrystalKrystal L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15605269346653999829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459207290594790398.post-89173498682529288082012-04-25T12:39:54.966-07:002012-04-25T12:39:54.966-07:00I read this post when you first posted it, and I t...I read this post when you first posted it, and I though it was funny in a darkly ironic way, but I didn't have anything interesting to say in a comment, so I didn't comment. And then my husband tells me that he just got a call from his lawyer and, for the first time in the 12 years that he has been in this country (legally), the US won't renew his work permit. The only things that have changed since his renewal last year are (1) he got a new job (in addition to the other jobs that he still has) and (2) he married me. Hopefully, it will all work out, but your post sprang immediately to mind as my husband was telling me the news. I get it now in a much more real way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459207290594790398.post-77766786391609664712012-04-14T17:38:59.424-07:002012-04-14T17:38:59.424-07:00Miguel told me that a few weeks ago. He said, I would have a killer truck, an apartment to myself, have money in the bank, and definitely still be in the US!!

I love that you told Mama that, Mami!!! I have told MIL that many times. The last time, I told her, I brought him home and I can take him back in a slit second so, don't push me!!! Miguel is constantly telling me, just say the word and I will get the money for the coyote. He wants away from his family more than I do, I think!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07094398763672345801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6459207290594790398.post-62559357977316061552012-04-14T10:15:06.880-07:002012-04-14T10:15:06.880-07:00A) I LOVE thatbsong, heard for the first time on m...A) I LOVE thatbsong, heard for the first time on my recent trip back to the States.
